Paris Saint-Germain are in control of their 2025 FIFA Club World Cup semi-final with Real Madrid after Fabian Ruiz's second strike gave them a 3-0 lead inside half-an-hour.

The Ligue 1 champions, who nabbed a maiden UEFA Champions League title before heading to the United States for this tournament, led early through the Spaniard and Ousmane Dembele after a pair of finishes nine minutes in.

But with Madrid reeling in their attempts to fashion some kind of comeback, PSG tore them apart again, with ex-Real Betis and Napoli man Fabian at the double to pile on the misery.

A brutal counter-attack from the French heavyweights tore strips off the opposition defence again, and the star was there to drill his second at the end of a fine team move.
