Norway vs. England preview: Team news and how to watch World Cup match
One of the more intriguing quarter-final match-ups of the 2026 World Cup happens tonight, when Norway face England in Miami.
The Norwegians are living up to their pre-tournament status as dark horses, having advanced farther than at any previous World Cup. They are led, of course, by Erling Haaland, who popped up late in the second half of Norway's round of 16 match vs. Brazil and scored twice in the final 11 minutes, giving him seven goals in his debut World Cup.
Meanwhile, England advanced to this round by outlasting Mexico in an instant classic at the Azteca, winning 3-2 in a match that had a bit of everything and had neutrals and supporters alike spellbound for the entire 90 minutes. The Three Lions expect to advance to the end of this tournament, but this might be the most dangerous opponent they've faced so far.
