The 2026 World Cup is the biggest World Cup of all time, with 48 teams competing in the competition for the first time across three different nations. 

There are over 100 matches to catch throughout the tournament and the kick-off times are set to dominate lives for the next few weeks up and down the country. 

England get their campaign underway against Croatia on June 17, before taking on Ghana and Panama in Group L.

Fans in the UK are still lucky enough to have all 104 matches of the World Cup being broadcast on terrestrial TV, with the BBC and ITV sharing the live games across the finals. 

The BBC is broadcasting 54 matches live on TV, but audiences can follow all 104 matches across the BBC’s digital platforms. Across TV, iPlayer, 5 Live, BBC Sounds, the BBC Sport website and app, the brand-new BBC Sport Football YouTube channel.

While ITV has 51 games live, as well as coverage across ITVX and the website. 

Each channel will make their knockout picks following the group stage, but both will air the final simultaneously.
