All eyes will be on the USA later this month, as thirty-two teams from across the globe compete in the newly revamped FIFA Club World Cup - a tournament you can see live on DAZN.
Some of Europe's top clubs will be heading to the States, including Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and newly crowned European Champions Paris Saint-Germain.
However, speaking exclusively to DAZN News, thanks to Racing Tipster, former Blues star Florent Malouda doesn't class Enzo Maresa's side as one of the favourites in the States.
The Frenchman believes his former side has another to make an impact in the tournament, but feels they are just behind the rest of the competition's big hitters.
"We are not favourites, but to be part of this competition is a great opportunity," Malouda said.
"I think it's not about the prestigious clubs so much as it is about who has the freshest players.
"I think it depends on how hungry the players are to win the trophy, and there are others who have been hungrier for titles.
"I don’t think Chelsea are favourites, especially compared to Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and even Man City. I think they have the dynamics to win the trophy and make a mark."
Chelsea begin their campaign against LAFC in Group D, before facing Flamengo and Tunisian side Espérance de Tunis.
