There's no love lost between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, with the teams set to renew hostilities this weekend in the latest edition of the North London Derby.

Sunday's match takes on wider importance across the Premier League as Arsenal head into the weekend as league leaders, while Spurs are fifth and hoping to qualify for next season's Champions League.

But given the choice, a former Tottenham goalkeeper believes Spurs fans would gladly take another year outside of the top European competition if it means the Gunners miss out on the league title.

Speaking to Betfred, Paul Robinson explained that the rivalry between North London clubs is so strong that Tottenham supporters would gladly trade their own happiness for Arsenal misery.

“Absolutely, yes. No questions asked," Robinson said. "Most Tottenham fans, myself included, would take any other sort of European finish over seeing Arsenal win the Premier League.

"They’d rather finish 17th than see Arsenal win the Premier League and that’s generally the feeling, so as long as they don’t win the league, and thankfully they can’t do it at our place, that’s the main thing and there’s even the chance to stop them on Sunday.”
