Manchester City take on Liverpool in this weekend's headline act in the Premier League, even if it's not quite the top of the table clash many people would have expected.

Arne Slot's side lead the Premier League table by eight points, but suffered another small setback in midweek when they could only draw 2-2 with Aston Villa. And, while City might be out of the title race - and now the Champions League - a visit to The Etihad is far from ideal for the Reds.

Elsewhere, there's a London derby for the Gunners, while David Moyes hosts former club Manchester United.

Here's Harry Redknapp's take on the weekend's action for BetVictor Casino

Manchester City 1-2 Liverpool

A very tough game to predict, nobody knows what to expect from this Manchester City team. They were poor at Real Madrid, and they could have conceded more. Will Pep Guardiola get a response from them here? I have my doubts.

A draw against Aston Villa is never a bad one, but when you’re chasing a title and you miss a golden chance to win it like Darwin Nunez did, that’s a tough one to take. Three points here would make it a fantastic week for Liverpool though.

Is Erling Haaland going to be fit for this? The game might just hinge on that. I do think we’ll see a response from City here but I’m going for Liverpool to just, just win this.

One to watch - I pick him all the time but let’s face it, if Liverpool are to win this game, a lot will depend on Mohamed Salah. He remains their most reliable forward by some distance.

Arsenal 1-0 West Ham

A big game for Arsenal, win this and suddenly there’s some real pressure on Liverpool. They’ve obviously had their issues in front of goal but at home to West Ham, they’ll fancy their chances.

It’s not been the greatest of starts for Graham Potter at West Ham. He needs some time to figure out a team he likes and to of course bring in his own players, but West Ham spent so much in the summer, and I don’t see a whole lot of quality in this side.

I think Arsenal might struggle to break the Hammers down, but they’ll have too much quality in the end and will edge this. It might even be a winner from a set-piece.

One to watch - It’s got to be Mikel Merino; does he start as a striker?

Everton 1-0 Manchester United

Talk about an interesting game. David Moyes and Everton are now above Manchester United and West Ham, who’d have thought that a few weeks ago? Everton have hardly been scintillating, but Moyes has instilled a real togetherness in the squad, they’ve shown loads of character.

I didn’t think United were great against Tottenham, but they did have chances, that Alejandro Garnacho miss is just poor. It’s getting to the point that Ruben Amorim’s glad the bottom three keep losing because United keep dropping lower and lower in the table.

Goodison Park will be loud, this will be good. I just think Everton win this game.

One to watch - I think Beto has been such a handful of late. He’s started to add some goals to his game, and he works so hard.

Aston Villa 3-2 Chelsea

This might just be the game that delivers the most drama and entertainment. Aston Villa create and score plenty, but they’ve been a little shaky at the back of late.

Chelsea are a similar story - some of the defending against Brighton was shambolic at times. Another defeat here would really put some pressure on Enzo Maresca’s side and throw a spanner in their hopes of finishing in the top four.

This honestly could be anything; I just think we’re going to see goals. I think Villa win it though, they could do with a big win in the league.

One to watch - That was a really encouraging performance from Marcus Rashford during the week and I won’t be shocked if he gets his first goal for Villa here.

Ipswich 1-2 Tottenham

What a fantastic point that was for Ipswich away at Aston Villa. Let’s face it, I don’t think many gave them much of a chance before the game, let alone with 10 men! That shows they’ve still got belief and are still up for the fight of staying up.

Tottenham got a vital win over Manchester United, but I’ve got to be honest, it was hardly a classic. At this stage, wins are all that matter for Spurs but they’re a long way off those European positions.

I think Spurs will just have too much, but Ipswich will give them a real game here.

One to watch - I think Dejan Kulusevski has been Spurs’ best player this season by a country mile. Most of the good things they do come through him.

Newcastle 2-1 Nottingham Forest

Another big game in a fantastic weekend. Newcastle just didn’t turn up against Manchester City, but they always take some stopping at home. I think they’ll be up for this, and a win would put them only three points behind Nottingham Forest.

Forest weren’t great at Fulham and it’s vital that they get something here. They’ve got Arsenal coming up during the week, they don’t want to undo all their great work in the space of a couple of weeks.

Sadly, for Nuno Espirito Santo’s team, I think Newcastle win this.

One to watch – Alexander Isak has been quite quiet of late; I don’t think that will last much longer though.

Bournemouth 2-1 Wolves

I thought Bournemouth were excellent in that win over Southampton, and they’ve got some big fixtures coming up. I think they’ll targeting a good run in the FA Cup and face Wolves again in that.

Wolves were excellent in that second half at Anfield, led of course by their main man Matheus Cunha. They had plenty of shots and it was the sort of performance that makes you think, how on earth are this side where they are in the table?

Bournemouth are so strong at home, and I think they’ll have too much for Wolves.

One to watch – Dango Ouattara has been leading the line, and you would never know it wasn’t his natural position.

Southampton 0-2 Brighton

I don’t know what to say about Southampton anymore. All you can say is that they must try and finish the season as strong as possible and at least give them some optimism going into next season.

There was a bit of pressure on Brighton and Fabian Hurzeler but that was two massive wins over Chelsea. Another win here and they’ll be right back on track in the race for the top six.

I can’t see anything but a Brighton win.

One to watch - Kaoru Mitoma’s touch and finish last week was just sensational. Can he produce more magic here?

Fulham 2-2 Crystal Palace

I think we’ll see a good game at Craven Cottage. I thought Fulham were brilliant against Nottingham Forest, they dominated that and should have scored three or four. They’ll be full of confidence here.

Crystal Palace lost to Everton, but they missed so many chances and I’m sure Oliver Glasner felt his side should have won.

Given the attacking quality that both have, I think we’ll see goals and plenty of action. It’s a bold call but I’m saying 2-2.

One to watch - I really like Jean-Philippe Mateta, he’s a proper No9. He’s so strong and usually such a reliable finisher.

Leicester 1-2 Brentford

A massive game for Leicester, the sort of game they just must win if they’re going to stay up. I know they got a win at Tottenham not that long ago, but the form aside from that has been poor.

As for Brentford, they’ve quietly been having a fantastic season. They always seem to beat the teams that they should beat. It was only 1-0 against West Ham but, on another day, they might have won that by three or four.

I just think Brentford will have too much pace and quality in the final third for a shaky Leicester defence.

One to watch – Bryan Mbuemo and Yoane Wissa get a lot of the attention, but what a good player Kevin Schade is, he’s rapid.
