Kylian Mbappé given incredible ringing endorsement by one of PSG’s biggest stars

Paris St-Germain winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has labelled Kylian Mbappé as one of the greatest players of all time ahead of tonight’s FIFA Club World Cup semi-final with Real Madrid.

Mbappé quit Paris St-Germain last summer on a free transfer and will be looking to dismantle his former club on the field this evening, a game you watch live and free on DAZN.

 

 

The France international appears back to something approaching his best form, having scored a stunning overhead kick in the 3-2 quarter-final win over Borussia Dortmund.

Fireworks look guaranteed as he prepares to face PSG for the first time since his acrimonious departure, and the French club’s star winger is ready for the battle that lies ahead.

Kvaratskhelia, who joined Luis Enrique’s side from Napoli in January, told DAZN: “We know that he is one of the best football players ever.

“We respect him and know that he’s a very good player – and a very good person.

“He’s just our opponent now and we respect everybody but in the game we are going to fight and win the game.”

When asked to assess tonight’s mouthwatering clash, DAZN pundit Dimitar Berbatov said: “In my mind, it’s even, it’s 50-50 and about the attacking players.

“Mbappé, Vini Junior, Gonzalo Garcia and then from PSG you have Desire Doue, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Ousmane Dembele and Bradley Barcola.”

Fellow DAZN pundit Juan Pablo Angel, the ex-Aston Villa striker, said PSG are a coming force in the world game.

He said: “They have all the right to believe that they can dominate world football from now on.

“They have a young squad full of talent and you look at Real Madrid and the same thing applies. It’s going to be a great game.”
