Los Angeles FC will look to make a splash as the last team to qualify for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup , which is available live and for free on DAZN.
The Black and Gold will be playing in their first Club World Cup and are in tough from their very first match.
Spearheaded by Gabon international Denis Bouanga and featuring World Cup winners Olivier Giroud and Hugo Lloris in their squad, LAFC won't lack experience when they go head-to-head with some of the biggest names in the sport.
But just how did they seal their berth for the revamped Club World Cup , set to take place across the United States between June and July this year? DAZN News has all the information.
LAFC are one of five North American teams competing in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and qualified as the winners of the play-in qualifier against Mexican outfit Club America.
The Black and Gold were runners-up in the 2023 CONCACAF Champions League, falling to Club Leon in the final.
Leon were disqualified from the Club World Cup earlier this year, setting up the one-off showdown between LAFC and Club America.
LAFC have been drawn into Group D , alongside Chelsea (England), Flamengo (Brazil) and Esperance de Tunis (Tunisia).
In order to reach the knockout stages, they must first successfully navigate this opening stage where the top two teams from each group will qualify.

The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will begin on Saturday, June 14 when Inter Miami takes on Al Ahly FC at Hard Rock Stadium with the final scheduled for Sunday, July 13 at MetLife Stadium.
In total 32 teams will be competing at the Club World Cup with all international federations represented.
Inter Miami have also been give a place at the tournament as a result of the United States being the hosts.
