Manchester City look to get back on track this weekend when they host Wolverhampton Wanderers for a Premier League contest.
The Sky Blues have hit a rough patch in the league, where they are winless in four. Man City's last Premier League match was a 2-0 loss to neighbouring rivals Manchester United, dropping them seven points back of league-leading Arsenal in the title race.
If that wasn't bad enough, Man City then traveled to the Arctic Circle to face Bodo-Glimt in the Champions League and were humbled 3-1. Pep Guardiola said his players were "fragile" in the loss to the Norwegian outfit, but there is no time to dwell on the latest disappointment as Saturday presents a new challenge.
On the surface, Wolves don't seem to post much of a threat. They still sit at the absolute bottom of the table after a horrific start to the campaign, but a small improvement in form has seen the cellar dwellers claim points in each of their last four league games. That means Wolves are technically in better form than Man City at the moment, which would have been an absurd statement to make even two weeks ago.

“One week ago we were in Newcastle, and we won 0-2 and how strong we were, then after a week I was a bit surprised about United, but maybe they were better.
“In Bodo we missed in the boxes, we missed the chances we had. And in the long balls and duels we weren’t aggressive enough.
“It’s going wrong because we are 50/20/25 mins except one action we were really good, then take two chances."

“We’ll expect the best Manchester City, which is pretty good, isn’t it? We’re going up against the best manager and they’ve got world class players in every position, so we’ll expect the best version of them.
“Every team has weaknesses. They don’t have many, but every team has weaknesses. Of course, we need to try and go into the game with a way to try and win it. We’ll try and show the boys that, but we obviously have to go into the game completely respecting them and what they are.
“We believe we always have a good plan to try and make sure that we’re solid and in the game but to try and win it as well, so this game tomorrow will be no different.”
Yes, Wolves boast a better record over their last four league games than the Sky Blues do. But this will be a highly motivated Man City side, at home, against an outgunned side.
And Erling Haaland is overdue for a goal or two.
Prediction: Manchester City 2-0 Wolves
