Liverpool v West Ham – No early goals at Anfield

Sat, 15:00

The Reds tend to score freely when hosting the Hammers, putting three per 90 past them on home soil across the last 10 occasions. It’s hardly a surprise therefore to learn that the London club haven’t won at Anfield in over a decade.

Yet historical data cedes to recent returns here. With 42 goals scored in 27 league outings in 2025/26 this is the lowest amount Liverpool have converted at this stage of a campaign since 2016.

Moreover, the Hammers are in decent shape right now, losing just one of their last six. Their last two fixtures have ended in low-scoring draws with Nuno’s men giving up just one big chance in 180+ minutes.

The Reds are fancied to win but it will be tough, and pertinently they haven’t scored prior to the 41st minute in 11 games.

Leeds v Man City – Tasty treble

Sat 17:30

Fourteen of Leeds’ last 17 league outings have finished with both teams scoring while City have only kept two clean sheets on the road in their last nine away fixtures. Backing BTTS is a sensible shout even if the visitors are rightfully firm favourites to prevail.

As for who makes the difference for Pep Guardiola’s title challengers it’s hard to look past Erling Haaland, particularly as the Striking Viking is back among the goals following a highly unusual barren spell.

From Christmas to late January, Haaland scored just once in seven starts. He has now bagged three in five, with three assists for good measure.

Lastly, a half-time lead by City would hardly amaze given their habit of getting their punches in early this season. They have converted inside 20 minutes in 43% of their fixtures in 2025/26 while no team has scored more first-half goals in the Premier League than the Sky Blues.

Nobody else comes remotely close.

Man United v Crystal Palace – Mbeumo to strike before break

Sun, 14:00

United’s expensive summer refurbishment on their forward line has really started to pay dividends since Michael Carrick took charge.

Between them, Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko have racked up 13 goal involvements in the six games since Carrick took on the supposedly poisoned chalice.

Yet, to an extent, this is simply a continuation of their collective output all term. All three are in the top seven for shots on target in 2025/26 with Mbeumo leading the trio with 29. That equates to 1.38 SOT per 90

The Cameroon international is worth backing at Old Trafford, especially as seven of his last 12 shots on target have been fired before half-time.

Fulham v Tottenham – Visitors to show some fight

Sun, 14:00

Tottenham’s freefall into unprecedented crisis has been accompanied by a lofty card count, their tally of 68 cautions to date not only a league-high but only two off what they received all of last season.

Averaging 2.5 yellows per 90 it astounds that they only picked up two last weekend given the circumstances. There was a new manager to impress, terrible form to turn around, and a hated neighbour to take it out on.

Spurs’ lack of fight in the NLD has been heavily criticised so we can expect them to at least amend that side of things at the Cottage. Some meaty challenges and greater commitment surely awaits.

Arsenal v Chelsea – A cornucopia of corners

Sun 16:30

It feels plain wrong to focus on corners ahead of this enthralling top five clash but we must go where the value takes us.

The Gunners have won the second highest number of corners this season with Chelsea just behind them, and crucially the Blues’ tally doesn’t tend to dip when away from the Bridge. They have registered 6.7 per 90 in their last three away fixtures in the Premier League.

As for the hosts, an average of 5.8 per 90 won at home in 2025/26 aligns with a high volume of goals scored from set-pieces.

Odds correct as of February 27th 2026. Recommended bets are advised to over-18s.
