Chelsea v Burnley – Cole back among the goals

At the risk of implying Cole Palmer is a flat-track bully – he isn’t – it’s fair to say the England international loves playing against promoted sides. 

In his 12 Premier League starts for the Blues vs recent Championship fare, he has accrued 14 goal involvements. This includes a goal and an assist at the expense of the Clarets three years ago. 

Having struck a rich vein of form of late, with a goal involvement every 50.6 minutes since mid-January, Palmer is tipped here to extend on his impressive record. The dilemma is what bet to take. 

The former Man City starlet to be his team’s first goalscorer appeals at 21/10, as does 3/1 for the player to score and assist.

West Ham v Bournemouth – 8/1 Bet Builder

Across his six years on the South Coast, Callum Wilson bagged seven goals vs the Hammers. Since moving to the capital, he has played against his former club once, converting twice last November.

Man City v Newcastle – Double tempts

Head-to-head records can sometimes be taken with a pinch of salt. That is absolutely not the case when City host the Magpies.

Newcastle were last victorious in East Manchester way back in 2000. In fact, City have won their last 16 league home games straight against their favourite guests, to an aggregate scoreline of 53-7.

Tottenham v Arsenal – Early goals

Narratives abound in N17 this Sunday, but it’s well worth remembering that the North London Derby is a story in, and of, itself. 

It has its own folklore and traits which are often far more influential than pre-match headlines.
