With the full stop put on the domestic season, attention turns to the feast of football this summer and the newly revamped FIFA Club World Cup, where every game is live on DAZN.
Thirty-two teams from across the globe will compete in the competition, hosted by the USA, including Premier League sides Chelsea and Manchester City.
It’s a tournament that has everyone excited, including former Premier League midfielder David Dunn, who spoke exclusively to DAZN News about the Club World Cup, courtesy of William Hill.
Dunn expressed his excitement ahead of next month’s festivities and the different flavours of football the teams on show will have to offer.
“This tournament is going to be run to watch!” Dunn stated.
“After a full domestic season, top European teams get to showcase some of the younger and academy players in the first stage of the competition.
“Plus, you get to see teams from South America and Saudi who will compete as well.
“Looking at the giants of European Football who are in this, the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG and Man City, it promises to be competitive as the tournament progresses.
“I’m looking forward to seeing how Flamengo, Palmerias, Al Hilal Saudi, Boca Juniors and River Plate get on as they face a different type of club side they would normally come up against.
“Climate may be an issue as the tournament goes on and I don’t expect the European sides to have it their own way.”

Despite not thinking it won’t be easy for the European teams, Dunn is tipping one of them to triumph in the States, giving the edge to Champions League finalists Inter Milan.
Adding, “Looking at a winner, I do like Inter Milan. I’ve been very impressed with them in the Champions League.
“Inzaghi is a top Coach, and they have a deep enough squad to compete and do well and become the first-ever winner of this version of the Tournament.”
