Premier League Power Rankings: Man Utd knocking on the door and Tottenham rock bottom

The Premier League has taken the weekend off after a rare midweek set of games, with the FA Cup taking centre stage over the next few days.

Matchweek 26 saw a number of intriguing match-ups, with all of the top seven sides in the standings picking up points.

We try to make sense of it all in the latest Power Rankings, which are not meant to look at the overall picture, but rather to provide a snapshot based on current form, strength of opposition, and other factors. As always, these rankings are based on Premier League play only.

Here are DAZN News' Power Rankings ahead of Matchweek 26.

The Gunners are back on top even though they came away from their draw at Brentford disappointed.

The Red Devils keep climbing and now hold the longest undefeated streak in the Premier League. It still wasn't enough to earn a haircut for the United Strand, though.

Another red-hot side climbing the ranks, the Blues slip a bit here after blowing a two-goal lead against Leeds

4. Liverpool (▲1)

The Reds earned a win at the Stadium of Light, something that no other Premier League team has done this season.

5. Aston Villa (▲1)

Villa's back to winning ways after their 1-0 victory over Brighton.

Next match: Feb. 21 vs. Leeds United

6. Brentford (▼2)

The Bees drop slightly after their home draw with Arsenal, but they are primed to make another climb.

7. Newcastle (▲3)

The Magpies ended their worrying winless skid with a victory at Tottenham. Can they build on it?

8. Manchester City (—)

City have won three of their last four, and they should make a big jump if they keep winning.

9. Leeds United (—)

Fought back for a 2-2 draw at Chelsea and have lost just once in their last five.

10. Bournemouth (▲4)

Winners over Everton and unbeaten in six. The Cherries are hot.

Next match: Feb. 21 at West Ham

11. Everton (▼4)

Humbled at home by Bournemouth and winners of just one league match in their last four.

Next match: Feb. 23 vs. Manchester United

12. West Ham (▼1)

The Hammers split the points with Man United this week.

Next match: Feb. 21 vs. Bournemouth

13. Nottingham Forest (▲2)

Poured on the pressure but had to settle for a scoreless draw with Wolves. Still, Forest have lost just once in their last five games.

Next match: Feb. 22 vs. Liverpool

14. Sunderland (▼1)

The Black Cats are tough to score against but are toothless up front, and it has shown with back-to-back losses.

Next match: Feb. 22 vs. Fulham

15. Fulham (▼3)

Three losses in a row and four in their last five. The Cottagers are plummeting.

16. Burnley (▲4)

A furious fightback resulted in Burnley taking all three points from Crystal Palace despite spotting them two goals.

17. Wolves (▲2)

Wolves earned another point but still failed to score. They move up mostly due to the poor performances of the bottom three.

18. Crystal Palace (▼2)

Palace threw away a superb home debut by Jørgen Strand Larsen in an epic collapse.

19. Brighton (▼2)

The Seagulls are now winless in six.

20. Tottenham (▼2)

They reached rock bottom and Thomas Frank lost his job. There's only one way to go from here.
