The final round of February games in the Premier League were chock full of intrigue, with the last-place team earning a rare victory, the title contenders all victorious, and two more winning streaks getting started.
We try to make sense of it all in the latest Power Rankings, which are not meant to look at the overall picture, but rather to provide a snapshot based on current form, strength of opposition, and other factors. As always, these rankings are based on Premier League play only.

Three wins in a row for the Reds, who are in hot pursuit of a Champions League berth.

5. Chelsea (▼2)
Losing to the league leaders is hardly a shame, but the Blues are suddenly winless in three games and face missing out on the Champions League.

6. Brentford (▲4)
Back to winning ways over the weekend, and the Bees have lost just once in their last five.
Next match: March 3 at Bournemouth
7. Bournemouth (▲2)
The Cherries are unbeaten in eight, although their two most recent matches were draws.

8. Aston Villa (▼3)
Loing to the worst team in the league will always affect a club's ranking, but Villa's got just one win in their last five.

9. Newcastle (▼1)
The losses are piling up for the Magpies at the wrong time.
Next match: March 4 vs. Manchester United
10. Leeds United (▼3)
Leeds fought to the end against Man City but could not stop the juggernaut from leaving Elland Road with three points. That's three games without a win now.

11. Everton (▲3)
Avoided a three-game losing skid by claiming a win at St. James' Park, which is not an easy task.

12. Fulham (▼1)
The Cottagers did what they had to do against a woeful Spurs team, but their overall form is still not convincing.
Next match: March 4 vs. West Ham
13. West Ham (▼1)
Got blasted by Liverpool, which happens to many teams. However, the Hammers are looking to avoid relegation and still haven't found the appropriate level of urgency.

14. Nottingham Forest (▼1)
The Tricky Trees fell again over the weekend, their third loss in four games.

15. Sunderland (▲1)
The Black Cats halted their losing streak with an away draw at Bournemouth, earning them a slight bump.

16. Brighton (▲1)
Brighton's suddenly won back-to-back games, but a massive test awaits on Wednesday.

17. Wolves (▲2)
A rare win (and a clean sheet!) gives Wolverhampton a boost.

The Clarets fell at home to visiting Brentford for their third loss in five games.

19. Crystal Palace (▼1)

There's Spursy, and then there's whatever this Tottenham team have been doing. Four losses on the bounce pushes their winless skid to 10 games.
