Goalkeeper: Jose Sa (Wolves)

The Wolverhampton 'keeper is used to being under fire at the struggling club, and he came up huge with 10 saves to preserve the scoreless draw against Nottingham Forest.

Right back: Ola Aina (Nottingham Forest)

Speaking of Forest, they also had some strong defensive performances in the stalemate with Wolves, including from Aina. The right back won three aerial duels, made five clearances and one interception, and chipped in at the other end with two chances created.

Centre back: James Hill (Bournemouth)

Hill was massive in the Cherries' victory over Everton, with 13 clearances and eight aerial duels won, along with three interceptions and a match-winning assist.

Centre back: Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool)

It was vintage Van Dijk for the Reds in their win against Sunderland, with a defensive performance that mirrors Hill's with 13 clearances and eight aerial duels won. Oh, and he scored the game's only goal.

Left back: Neco Williams (Nottingham Forest)

The attack-starved Forest were well served by their left back, who created four chances (with one big chance included) and also took seven shots himself. On the defensive side of the ball, Williams made three tackles and two interceptions while winning nine duels.

Midfielder: Nico O’Reilly (Manchester City)

City are hitting their stride once again and O'Reilly is a big part of that. In the 3-0 victory over Fulham, O'Reilly scored the second goal and provided the energy to drive his team's midfield in an impressive performance.

Midfielder: Cole Palmer (Chelsea)

Another week, another penalty goal for Chelsea's talisman. Palmer also provided the assist on Joao Pedro's strike as the Blues drew 2-2 against Leeds.

Midfielder: Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest)

Like Williams, Anderson tried to drive the attack for toothless Forest, taking seven shots, completing 79 passes and creating two chances for his teammates. He also put in work on the other side of the ball, with two clearances, five tackles and nine recoveries.

Forward: Noni Madueke (Arsenal)

Madueke scored the Gunners' only goal in their disappointing 1-1 draw at Brentford, and contributed defensively with three tackles and six ground duels won.

Forward: Jorgen Strand Larsen (Crystal Palace)

The Norwegian made one heck of a first impression at Selhurst Park, scoring both goals for Palace on his home debut. Unfortunately for Strand Larsen, his teammates let him down by allowing Burnley to score three unanswered goals in a 3-2 win for the visitors.

Forward: Antoine Semenyo (Manchester City)

He's arguably been City's best player since arriving during last month's transfer window, and he was excellent once again in the Fulham victory with a goal and an assist.
