We've reached that time of year where all the silverware is handed out and individual performers for the season are rewarded.

2025-26 has been a polarising season for many, but as usual, packed full of narrative up and down the Premier League.

DAZN News is looking back over the campaign and handing out their own set of gongs in a selection of the traditional end-of-season categories.

Here, then, are our winning names for the Premier League's best young player of the season.

Runners-up

Archie Gray (Tottenham)

Spurs haven't had much to shout about this season, and their dismal campaign means some will overlook the few green shoots from a season they'd all rather forget in North London.

One of those rare positives has been the continued performances of Gray, who has gone above and beyond his requirements at such a young age.

Still only 20, he's already made over 130 first-team appearances and this season, he has filled in wherever needed for Tottenham as they suffered injury after injury and tried to find the formula to get them out of their rut.

Without Gray's adaptability and keenness in defence and midfield, the club could be in an even worse state, and his stock has continued to rise despite Spurs' woe.

Estevao (Chelsea)

Chelsea may continue to stockpile players at an alarming rate, but in this teenage Brazilian, they looked to have found a real gem.

Estevao hasn't been fazed by his move to the big time, and both his big beaming smile and samba skills have lit up Stamford Bridge, with fans quickly taking to the skilful forward.

He netted his first goal for the Blues with a late winner against Liverpool in October and has netted eight times in his debut campaign.

An injury has put his World Cup hopes in doubt, but there's no doubting who's been the most entertaining forward in West London this season.

Eli Kroupi (Bournemouth)

There were plenty of big-name attacking talents recruited last summer, with the Cherries' acquisition of teenager Kroupi from Lorient (who they signed in January, but joined at the start of the season) completely going under the radar, but he's certainly been quick to make an impression.

The forward was quick out of the trap, netting his first goal against Leeds in September, which kicked off a run of three consecutive goalscoring appearances.

The explosive Frenchman now has 12 league goals to his name, matching a Premier League record set by Robbie Fowler and Robbie Keane for most goals by a teenager in a Premier League season, and is already being linked with a possible summer move to a Champions League club.

And the winner is...

Nico O'Reilly (Manchester City)

The best young player in the Premier League this season? Well, it had to be Nico O'Reilly, who's gone from promising youngster to one of Pep Guardiola's go-to guys in the matter of months for Manchester City.

Whether he's been deployed at left-back, where he's excelled so much he could start there for England come the summer, or further forward in midfield, the 21-year-old has made an impact in both roles.

A player who's easy on the eye and seems to take everything in his stride, O'Reilly is highly technical and has been among City's best performers in 2025-26.

With the crescendo to his breakthrough season coming with his two goals in the club's Carabao Cup win over Arsenal. A true talent who's outshone some of City's biggest names.
