What they said

“Exploiting Vini and Mbappe? Our idea is to exploit all players. To have a strong collective team. To know what to do on and off the ball. Once we have that, individual quality will flow easily. Little by little, the players and I are getting to know each other better. Day after day, we're setting up the core ideas of how we want to play next season."
Xabi Alonso, Real Madrid coach

“The history of this club shows that we win trophies and that’s what we do. It’s part of the DNA of the club. That’s our aim and ambition and that’s what we want to do as a team."
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Real Madrid defender

"The beautiful thing about football is that it's one game and anything can happen, so if [Real Madrid] are on, we have to be on as well. We have a talented team also, in Italian football we're known for being defensive and being structurally good, so hopefully it pays off."
Weston McKennie, Juventus midfielder
