The last round of games before March's international break saw another glimmer that we may see a title race in the final few weeks of the season between the two Milan clubs - and even the reigning champions.

While the European rookies are still leading the Champions League chase, there were also some big results at the bottom, too.

Here's a round-up of the big talking points from Serie A's matchday 30.

Title race on?

Every week, the narrative at the top of the Serie A table seems to change, and going into the international break, there could still be a big twist in where the Scudetto ends up after this weekend's results.

Leaders Inter dropped points for a third game in a row, as they were held to a 1-1 draw by strugglers Fiorentina, and this time around, Milan were the beneficiaries, having already secured a win over Torino the day before.

What it all means is that Inter still lead the table, but now only by six points off the Rossoneri with eight games left to play. It's still in Cristian Chivu's side's hands, but they are wobbling just at the wrong time - especially with Napoli making up for lost ground too, only a point further back.

Como cruising

Serie A's in-form side shows no signs of stopping their historic charge, with Como sticking five past Pisa to show their Champions League credentials.

Many have been expecting Cesc Fabregas's men to be the ones to fall away, up against the more recognised European contenders, but that victory was their fifth in a row as they close in on a top-four place.

With Roma and Juventus both winning, they remain hot on their heels, but right now, the money is on Como to qualify for the competition for the first time in their history.

Battle heats up at the bottom

There was some major movement at the bottom, where it's now Lecce who have dropped into the bottom three following the weekend's activity.

Cremonese were the biggest winners, finally securing a first victory of 2026 with a surprise 2-0 win over Parma, to move above the dotted line and two points off Fiorentina, who managed a credible draw with Inter.

With Pisa and Verona looking like they have too much to do, it looks like a battle to avoid the final relegation place between Cagliari in 15th and those teams below them.
