The National League kicks off 2026 with a full programme of fixtures this weekend, as play-off chasers Southend United host a Truro side battling at the bottom end of the table.
Southend made it back-to-back wins on Tuesday with a 1-0 victory over Sutton, to keep up the pace in the top seven as we head into the second half of the season. Kevin Maher's team have their sights set on a return to Wembley in 2026 after their heartbreaking loss in the play-off final last term.
They'll be red-hot favourites as they welcome Truro to Essex, who are currently 23rd in the table, with just goal difference keeping them off the bottom.
However, they have enjoyed an encouraging festive period, after beating Yeovil on Boxing Day and then coming away with a point away at Forest Green.
DAZN News has all the information ahead of Southend United vs. Truro City.

Southend vs. Sutton will take place at 3pm GMT on Saturday, January 3, in the National League.
Built in 1952, the ground is the largest stadium in Essex, with a capacity of 10,508.
