1. DAZN Limited (“DAZN”, “We", "Us") provides an online video service offering streaming of sporting events (both live and on-demand), highlights of sporting events and other related content (collectively "Content") for a range of devices including Internet-connected TVs, computers and other platforms ("DAZN Service").
  2. As a DAZN Service user, you may be entitled to purchase certain sports events on a pay-per-view basis (“Add-On Event”) in accordance with the terms set out in these Terms and Conditions and the sign-up journey.  
  3. By purchasing an Add-On Event, you agree to comply with these Add-On Events Terms and Conditions and the DAZN Service Terms and Conditions (together, “Terms”). The purchase price and viewing conditions (including, but not limited to, whether replay viewing is available, the viewing period, etc.) for Add-On Events varies and will be as outlined when you sign up or in other communications made available to you prior to your purchase.
  4. By activating the purchase button you submit a legally binding offer to purchase the Add-On Event. The purchase is concluded by our explicit confirmation of the contract. If you have not received such confirmation, the purchase is concluded when we provide you with access to the Add-On Event within the DAZN Service.
  5. We will not have any liability to you for the cancellation or the abandonment of any event not with our responsibility or the failure to show any event as scheduled or advertised, if DAZN is not responsible for this. This does not affect any statutory warranty rights for digital products you may have as a consumer.  We (and not any third party payment provider) are responsible for addressing any claims you or any third party may have in relation to the Add-On Event.
  6. You confirm that any payment method that you use is yours, or that you have the authorisation to use it. All accounts and payments are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the Payment Method provider. If your payment is refused, then you will not be granted access to the Add-On Event until a validated Payment Method is provided by you and approved by us. In the event of a payment not being processed or being recalled without authorisation for reasons for which you are responsible, we may charge you the costs incurred as a result, e.g. for the bank return debit charge.  
  7. For some Payment Methods, the issuer of your Payment Method may charge you certain fees, such as a foreign transaction fee or other fees relating to the processing of your Payment Method. Local tax charges may vary depending on the Payment Method used. Check with your Payment Method service provider for details.
  8. The fee to be paid for the Add-On Event will be billed on the date specified by us or your third party payment provider to your chosen Payment Method. Access to the Add-On-Event is subject to you having a DAZN subscription. If you cancel your DAZN subscription before gaining access to the Add-On-Event, you are not entitled to a refund of the price for the Add-On-Event, unless you have exercised your right of withdrawal in accordance with clause 11.
  9. The Add-On Event is for your personal and non-commercial use only. You must be 18 years of age (or over) to purchase and view an Add-On Event.
  10. In the event of a conflict between these Add-On Event Terms and Conditions and the Subscription Terms and Conditions, the Subscription Terms and Conditions shall prevail. Matters not stipulated in these Add-On Event Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the Subscription Terms and Conditions.

  11. Instruction regarding Your Right of Withdrawal for Add-On Event purchases

    11.1 Right of Withdrawal

    If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area:

    You have the right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen (14) days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period shall be fourteen (14) days and starts on the day of conclusion of the contract. In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, please send us – DAZN Limited, 12 Hammersmith Grove, London, England, W6 7AP, help@DAZN.com – an unambiguous message (e.g. via regular postal mail or an email) informing us about your decision to withdraw from this contract. You can do so by using the sample withdrawal form as provided below, but using this form is not mandatory. You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at https://dazn.com/de-DE/signin/withdrawal. If you use this online function, we will immediately send you, on a durable medium (e.g. by email), a confirmation of receipt containing details of the content of the notice of withdrawal, as well as the date and time of its receipt. The deadline is deemed to be met if you submit the notice of withdrawal prior to the expiry of the withdrawal period.

    11.2 Consequences of Withdrawal

    If you withdraw from the contract, we will refund all payments which we have received from you, including shipping costs (except from any additional costs arising due to the fact that you have not opted for the cheapest standard shipment offered by us) immediately and no later than fourteen (14) days after receipt of your notice of withdrawal. For the refund we use the same method of payment that you have used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed with you; in no event, we will charge a refund fee.

    11.3 Expiration of the Right of Withdrawal

    In the case of a contract for the supply of digital content that is not contained in a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal expires also if we began with the performance of the contract after you (i) have expressly consented to us beginning with the performance of the contract prior to expiry of the withdrawal period, (ii) have acknowledged that by your consent, you would lose the right to withdraw from the contract upon the performance of the contract having commenced and (iii) we have provided you with confirmation of your consent to immediate performance and your acknowledgement of the expiry of the right of withdrawal as well as the other information required by law in the duplicate or confirmation of our contract on a durable medium.

  12. Governing Law and Language

    12.1 These terms and conditions are governed exclusively by the law of the country in which you have your habitual residence.

    12.2 This English version of these Conditions will only be published as a matter of translation. In case of any inconsistencies of conflict between the German version and the English version of these Conditions the German version shall prevail.

  13. Dispute resolution proceedings

    13.1 We do not wish to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board and are not legally required to participate in such proceedings. We prefer to solve your requests directly with you. For this purpose, please use the “Help” form on our website.
