After beating knocking out fellow countryman Chris Eubank Jr, some fans are now wanting to see 'Beefy' take on Conor Benn.
While this certainly could be an entertaining contest, the weight difference between the two could prove to be a stumbling block with Benn and Smith campaigning at welterweight and middleweight respectively.
However if the opportunity did arise, Smith told The DAZN Boxing Show that it would be a fight he could be interested in.

"Not really, I’m not going to sit and call Conor Benn out," Smith responded when asked whether Benn was on his immediate radar.
"If Conor Benn wants to fight me and come for me, fire away, be my guest.
"Even after the Eubank loss, he made fun of Eubank losing, he hasn’t really mentioned fighting myself."
While a matchup with Benn doesn't seem to be set for the immediate future, there are still plenty of options for Smith to pursue including a world title shot against IBF and WBA middleweight champion Gennadiy Golovkin at Anfield.
