The Cavaliers and LeBron James made history as they end Cleveland's 52-year sports championship drought and become the first team in NBA history to come back from a 3-1 series deficit in the NBA Finals. In a thrilling Game 7, The Cavaliers and the Warriors went wire-to-wire until the very end of the fourth quarter when Kyrie Irving (CLE) capped it off by hitting a 3-Pointer over Stephen Curry (GSW), the two-time league MVP and one of the best shooters the game has seen. LeBron James claimed his well-deserved Finals MVP as he had a triple-double in this winner-take-all game with 27 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. Draymond Green (GSW) scored 21 points in the first half and nearly had a triple-double as he finished with 32 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists. Prior to the game, Curry said he needed to have the best game of his career but only scored 17 points on 6-for-19 shooting while Klay Thompson only added 14 points.
