Who won the boxing today? John Riel Casimero vs. Fillipus Nghitumbwa

John Riel Casimero made it nine successive wins on Saturday with a unanimous decision win over Fllipus Nghitumbwa.

It was a huge occasion for the former three-weight world champion, who was fighting in the Philipines for the first time in four years. 

Casimero made his performance look comfortable, dominating the fight throughout which included a knockdown in round six. 

Come the final bell, Casimero was declared the winner on all three judges' scorecards with scores of 116-110, 114-112 and 114-112.
