The Steelers are hanging by a thread to first place in the AFC North heading into Sunday's showdown at home against the Buffalo Bills. What that means is the leader of the ship is returning under center.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers will be back in the lineup despite multiple fractures in his left wrist. He missed Week 12's 31-28 loss to the Chicago Bears. Rodgers fully practiced twice this week, which was enough for head coach Mike Tomlin to give the green light.
A win over the Bills would put the Steelers (6-5) up a full game on the Baltimore Ravens, who lost to the Cincinnati Bengals on Thanksgiving, into their matchup in Week 14.
In his first season with the Steelers, Rodgers has thrown for 1,969 yards along with 19 touchdown passes and seven interceptions, and a passer rating of 97.7.
