The Los Angeles Chargers could be in some trouble.
Quarterback Justin Herbert is out of the game for the Chargers in their Week 13 matchup versus the Las Vegas Raiders due to a left hand injury. He is questionable to return to the game per a team report. Backup Trey Lance is in the game for the Chargers
The injury happened when Herbert went out of the pocket for a scramble. He got tackled, and his left hand slammed against the turf upon impact. Herbert finished the series, which included a ten-yard touchdown pass to Quentin Johnson.
Before exiting the game, Herbert was 5 of 5 for 39 yards and the one touchdown pass. The Chargers lead the Raiders 7-0 with under ten minutes to go in the first half.
(Updated): Herbert is back in the game, wearing a glove on the left hand.
