The Rams are rolling

Quarterback Matthew Stafford continues to operate with trademark precision, and his prolific connection with wide receiver Puka Nacua has been among the league’s biggest storylines.

Both players are in early contention for the MVP and OPOY awards.

Unfortunately, Pacua will miss Sunday's contest with an ankle injury. In his place, Davante Adams - a dangerous wideout even at 32, is expected to have a big game.

The Wembley crowd should keep a watchful eye on Rams' dynamic running back Kyren Williams. He's yet to top 100 yards rushing this year, but it won't be long coming. Maybe this will be his week?

On defense, bruising linebacker Nate Landman has exceeded all expectations, edge rusher Byron Young is on fire, and 2024 Defensive Rookie of the Year Jared Verse is likely to create havoc in the backfield.

The Jaguars have surprised everyone

The Jaguars have rediscovered their spark under head coach Liam Coen, who has brought balance and belief back to a team that fell short a year ago.

Quarterback Trevor Lawrence is finding ways to win, Travis Etienne has produced a string of standout performances, and Brian Thomas Jr. - drops aside - is starting to remind us why he was so special as a rookie in 2024.

First-round rookie Travis Hunter is still waiting for that true breakout moment, but with his rare two-way ability, it feels like only a matter of time before his game-changing potential shows up big.

Defensively, Jacksonville will be without star linebacker Devin Lloyd, but with leaders like Foye Oluokun, dangerous pass-rusher Josh Hines-Allen, and a healthy Travon Walker, this unit still has the tools to make life difficult for anyone.

• Adams' impact: In Nacua's absence, it should mean Adams, and possibly Jordan Whittington, should come up big.
• Rams’ pass rush vs. Jaguars’ O-line: Verse, Young, and defensive tackle Kobie Turner could deliver fireworks and make Lawrence's life difficult.
• Etienne’s explosiveness: He was bottled up in the last game, but if he gets loose, the Jaguars could dictate the tempo.

Prediction

The Jaguars are underdogs, but Nacua's absence makes it a little more even.

With that said, Stafford will likely lean on Devante Adams, who is equally capable of coming up big when it matters most.
