NFL Week 6 Power Rankings: Eagles, Chiefs, Bills fall & Lions, Jaguars, Broncos soar

DAZN
NFL Game Pass sale - annual pass for just £99

We're five weeks into the NFL season, and the surprises have been coming thick and fast. It's still early, but some of the teams we initially thought would be contenders are slipping, while many of the underdogs have surpassed expectations.

As Week 6 begins tonight with the Philadelphia Eagles looking to get back on track against the New York Giants, live with NFL Game Pass on DAZN (excl. the US and China), let's take a look at how teams currently stack up in our power rankings.

NFL Game Pass ROW

1) Detroit Lions (4-1, Up 2): There is a king at the top of the mountain. Jared Goff and the Lions are clicking and are playing like they did last season.

2) Jacksonville Jaguars (4-1, Up 10): Who had this on their bingo card when the season started? Trevor Lawrence played perhaps the best game of his career in leading the Jaguars back from the jaws of defeat.

3) Buffalo Bills (4-1, Down 1): This is one of those games the Bills will look back and kick themselves as they had the Patriots on the ropes, but their defense let them down.

4) Philadelphia Eagles (4-1, Down 3): A lot of turmoil on the offensive side of the ball. The Eagles need to play Eagles football. Don't let the outside noise get in.

5) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-1, Up 2): An impressive win over the Seahawks in what was the most exciting game of Week 5. It's still early in the season, but you have to put Baker Mayfield in the early running as an MVP candidate.

6) Green Bay Packers (2-1-1, Even): They were off last week.

7) Indianapolis Colts (4-1, Up 4): We keep waiting for Daniel Jones to falter and slip up. To this point, he hasn't. The Colts will go as far as Jones will take them.

8)  Denver Broncos (3-2, Up 8): Regardless of the chaos in Philadelphia, give Sean Payton's Broncos credit. They came back on the road against the defending Super Bowl Champions and Bo Nix played the best quarter of his young career.

9) San Francisco 49ers (4-1, Up 4): No Brock Purdy, Nick Bosa? No problem for the 49ers, who keep finding different ways to win.

10) Pittsburgh Steelers  (3-1, Even): Who remembers Aaron Rodgers' tenure with the Jets?

11) Seattle Seahawks (3-1, Down 2): A tough loss in what was the best game of the week against the Buccaneers. The Seahawks shouldn't hold their heads down too much.

12) Kansas City Chiefs (2-3, Down 8): Not the type of loss the Chiefs needed. A great start to the Monday night game against the Jaguars that slipped away. The defense was given a lead and blew it. That side of the ball needs more consistency and in a hurry.

13) Los Angeles Chargers (3-1, Down 3): Back-to-back losses for Jim Harbaugh's team. The remedy needs to be found before the train derails. Losing Omarion Hampton doesn't help the cause.

14) Washington Commanders (3-2, Up 1): Low and behold, Jayden Daniels returned just in time for a big road win in Los Angeles over the Chargers.

15) Los Angeles Rams (3-2, Down 10): Back-to-back losses for the Rams. It's hard to blame Matthew Stafford as he's rolling along after nearly throwing for 400 yards. Time for the defense to wake up.

16) New England Patriots (3-2, Up 6): Drake Maye showed out in his prime time debut by leading the Pats to a win over Josh Allen and the Bills.

17) Minnesota Vikings (3-2, Even): J.J. McCarthy appears to have things back together.

18) Chicago Bears (2-2, Even):  Bye week but a big game coming up for Caleb Williams as they travel to Washington to take on the Commanders.

19) Dallas Cowboys (2-2-1, Up 2): Very dominant performance in all facets of the game. Watch out as the Cowboys are unbeaten in their last three games (2-0-1).

20) Atlanta Falcons (2-2, Even): A bye week. Now the tough stretch begins with the Bills, 49ers, and Colts on tap.

21) Houston Texans (2-3, Up 4):  A win is a win, and it doesn't matter who it's against.

22) Baltimore Ravens (1-4, Down 8): Problems on both sides of the ball continue to persist with Lamar Jackson still out of action.

23) Cincinnati Bengals (2-3, Even): Joe Burrow can't return any sooner.

24) Carolina Panthers (2-3, Up 7): Things weren't looking good down 17-0. However, credit to the Panthers for roaring back with the help of 206 rushing yards by Rico Dowdle.

25) Tennessee Titans (1-3, Up 5): A great comeback win over the Cardinals in Arizona to get Cam Ward his first NFL win.

26) New Orleans Saints (1-4, Up 6): First win of the season and can only go up from here.

27) Las Vegas Raiders (1-3, Down 1): A tough home loss to the Bears. The defense has to play better. The offense putting up 24 points should more often than not get the job done.

28) Cleveland Browns (1-3, Down 3): The Joe Flacco experiment needs to end. Let's see what Dillon Gabriel and Shadeur Sanders can provide to the Browns.

29) Arizona Cardinals (2-3, Down 10): An uncalled-for loss to one of the worst teams in the NFL, and it happened at home.

30) Miami Dolphins (1-4, Down 4): A horrific loss against the Panthers in blowing a 17-point lead at home. How does head coach Mike McDaniel still have a job?

31) New York Giants (1-3, Down 7: The hope with Jaxson Dart lasted a week. A big game for Dart coming up against the Eagles.

32) New York Jets (0-5, Down 3): The only winless team in the NFL.
