We're six weeks into the NFL season, and there are surprises around the league. It's still early, but some of the teams we initially thought would be contenders are slipping, while many of the underdogs have surpassed expectations.
As Week 7 begins on Thursday night with Aaron Rodgers leading the Pittsburgh Steelers into Cincinnati to battle the Bengals, live with NFL Game Pass on DAZN (excl. the US and China), let's take a look at how teams currently stack up in our power rankings.
1) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-1, Up 4): There's a new sheriff at the top of the heap, led by MVP candidate Baker Mayfield.
2) Indianapolis Colts (5-1, Up 5): We keep waiting for Daniel Jones to falter and slip up. To this point, he hasn't. The Colts will go as far as Jones will take them and right now that is among the elite teams in the NFL.
3) Green Bay Packers (3-1-1, Up 3): Can we get to Packers vs. Steelers?
4) Detroit Lions (4-2, Down 3): The reign at the top only lasted a week. Was the loss to the Chiefs just a blip we will be looking at in two months? And someone tell Brian Branch that it's ok to accept high fives from Patrick Mahomes.
5) Pittsburgh Steelers (4-1, Up 5): That Aaron Rodgers to DK Metcalf connection is exciting to watch.
6) Buffalo Bills (4-2, Down 3): The Bills looked out of sync. Now, they are second place, which isn't something no one saw coming.
7) Philadelphia Eagles (4-2, Down 3): The Super Bowl champions have now lost back-to-back games. Now, they have to go on the road against the Vikings.
8) Kansas City Chiefs (3-3, Up 4): An excellent bounce-back win against one of the NFL's best teams. Mahomes played like Mahomes, and the defense held the vaunted Lions in check.
9) Seattle Seahawks (4-1, Up 2): A tough, gritty win in having to fly across the country and beating a much-improved Jaguars team.
10) Los Angeles Rams (4-2, Up 5): Like the Seahawks, it's tough to go across the country and get a victory. The Rams' defense held the Ravens in check and snapped a two-game losing streak. Hopefully, Puka Nacua isn't out for too long.
11) New England Patriots (4-2, Up 5): Drake Maye with another solid performance, and now the Pats have replaced the Bills and are in first place in the AFC East.
12) Los Angeles Chargers (4-2, Up 1) Solid come-from-behind win on the road in Miami to snap a two-game skid.
13) Denver Broncos (4-2, Down 5): The win was ugly against the league's worst team in the Jets. Can't struggle against a team like that.
14) Chicago Bears (3-2, Up 4): The run game led by D'Andre Swift and the defense led by Montez Sweat helped the Bears wipe out last year's horror show in Washington and now have a three-game winning streak heading into an easy part of the schedule.
15) San Francisco 49ers (4-2, Down 6): Another week, another injury for the 49ers with the anchor of their defense, Fred Warner, out for the season due to needing ankle surgery.
16) Atlanta Falcons (3-2, Up 4): Michael Penix has the Falcons believing. Getting wins like they did on Monday night against Josh Allen and the Bills will continue that thought process.
17) Minnesota Vikings (3-2, Even): The Vikings had a bye week, but now the fun begins as the Eagles will be looking to take their frustrations out on them.
18) Washington Commanders (3-3, Down 4): A lapse in judgment by Jayden Daniels cost the Commanders a golden opportunity to even things in the division with the Eagles.
19) Jacksonville Jaguars (4-2, Down 18): A rough game for Trevor Lawrence as the Jaguars struggled after such an emotional win in Week 6 over the Chiefs.
20) Dallas Cowboys (2-3-1, Down 1): The offense is showing up every week, led by Dak Prescott and the resurgence of George Pickens. Now, the defense has to stop somebody.
21) Houston Texans (2-3, Even): A bye in Week 6. The NFL didn't do the Texans any favors coming out of the bye, as they have to go to Seattle against the Seahawks.
22) Las Vegas Raiders (2-3, Up 5): The Titans are what the Raiders ordered up. Ashton Jeanty got into the end zone, and Geno Smith threw a touchdown pass.
23) New York Giants (2-3, Up 8): Great win in primetime over the Super Bowl champions. Hopefully, Jaxson Dart will provide the Giants with some consistency.
24) Carolina Panthers (3-3, Even): Another great game for Rico Dowdle, who had over 180 yards, to help the Panthers pull off the upset over the surging Cowboys.
25) Arizona Cardinals (2-4, Up 4): Played much better than expected in Indianapolis. Still a glimmer of hope in Arizona.
26) Baltimore Ravens (1-5, Down 4): Problems on both sides of the ball continue to persist with Lamar Jackson still out of action.
27) New Orleans Saints (1-5, Down 1): Played better at home against the Patriots. They are improving each week.
28) Tennessee Titans (1-4, Down 3): Why was Mike Vrabel fired again?
29) Cincinnati Bengals (2-4, Down 6 ): Joe Flacco isn't the answer and never even was even for a stopgap.
30) Cleveland Browns (1-5, Down 3): The Joe Flacco experiment is officially over. Sooner or later, Shadeur Sanders will get in because Dillon Gabriel can't keep putting up nine points of offense every week.
31) Miami Dolphins (1-5, Down 1): When Tua is calling the whole team out, you know you're in trouble.
32) New York Jets (0-6, Even): The only winless team in the NFL.
