Could Russell Wilson be on the way out?

Sources tell NFL.com that the Super Bowl-winning quarterback is expected to be on the market ahead of the Nov. 4 trade deadline.

The 36-year-old Wilson was benched this week by the New York Giants after a poor performance in Week 3 on Sunday Night Football at home against the Kansas City Chiefs. Wilson went 18 of 32 for 160 yards, two interceptions, was sacked twice, and was booed mercifully by the Giants crowd. Wilson will be replaced by 2025 first-round pick Jaxson Dart.

Wilson didn't want to be released by the team and wants to be a mentor for Dart.

"I know that I'm going to respond in the right way every day," Wilson told the media during the week.

Just because he's on the sidelines, that doesn't mean he plans to hang it up.

"I'm not done," Wilson also said.
