Week 14 in the NFL is the final bye week of the season. It sees six franchises take a break
Across the season each team gets one bye - or rest - week . Bye weeks occur between Week 5 and Week 14.
After this week, all teams play a full schedule for the remainder of the regular season
Here are the six teams that will be on bye week in Week 14, December 5-9:
The Ravens head into their bye coming off a 24-19 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in which kicker Justin Tucker missed two field goals and an extra point conversion. Baltimore sits second in the AFC North.
If there's one team that would likely prefer to delay their bye, it's the Broncos. They've won three straight games, including Monday's 41-32 victory over the Cleveland Browns, putting them in third in the AFC West but also seventh in the conference.
The Texans got back to winning ways last week, defeating the woeful Jacksonville Jaguars 23-20. Houston sits atop the AFC South.
Another AFC South team that got back on a winning track in Week 12, the Colts relied upon late-game dramatiics from quarterback Anthony Richardson to salvage the much-needed victory.
The Pats will surely welcome the break after losing their last three games, the most recent of which was the last-minute heartbreak inflicted upon them by the aforementioned Colts.
The Commanders have cooled off after a hot start to the season, but they still hold an enviable 71 percent chance of making the postseason after Week 12's 42-19 beatdown of the Tennessee Titans.
