Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk weighed in on Friday ahead of their fight on Saturday, with Joshua's IBF, WBA and WBO belts on the line.

The unified heavyweight kingpin came in at a lean 240 pounds while the former undisputed cruiserweight weighed a career-high 221.25 pounds. Joshua and Usyk had a friendly staredown which went off without incident.

This is Usyk's (18-0) third fight at heavyweight since moving up from cruiserweight. He's defeated Chazz Witherspoon and Derek Chisora since he made the trek up to the land of the giants.

The 31-year-old Joshua measures 6'6" and has displayed a slimmer frame than before, perhaps in anticipation of a slicker opponent than usual, given his rival's lighter background. "AJ" is coming off a ninth-round knockout win Kubrat Pulev in December to retain his three belts.

The pair fight on Saturday night at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with the winner likely to meet whomever comes away with the victory between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder in October.

Here is what happened at the Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk weigh-in.

Joshua: The game plan is to win

Speaking after the weigh-in, Joshua gave a few comments.

"For me, I don't know what to expect in terms of boos and cheers. It's nice that people came out, even Usyk got cheers," he started.

"As long as boxing's winning, we're all winning.

"Respect, fear, it's just a fight. We do our best. We train... I'm not going to be disrespectful, he's achieved phenomenal things. Good luck to him and I hope it's going to be a good fight.

"We're going to deliver. Respect to him for training, respect to my team for getting me here.

"Good night Saturday, Sunday we go back to what we normally do.

"I don't really watch my weight. I don't know why there is a big thing about heavyweights. I was 18 something at some stage, but I still managed to throw combos and went 12 rounds.

"As long as you're loose and nimble, I should be good. If I was heavier doing it, I should be able to do it.

"Of course I'm not going to give you a game plan. There isn't a game plan. It's a win. I just pray, give it my best, and that's it, honestly. Visualise, pray, meditate and give it my best."

Joshua thanks the fans

Joshua thanks his supporters for coming out, tells them he does not take them for granted. He says he's spent 'hours and hours in the gym' in preparation.

He thanks British, Ukrainian and Nigerian fans and then hands over the mic (which is short for microphone).

Stare off

The pair stare off before shaking hands and smiling with one another. They're clearly not interested in much more about winning than about beating the other man. There's little needle, but who knows if that helps or hinders?

Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk

Oleksandr Usyk is up first. In green pants, he weighs 221.25lbs. That's a hefty size, about 15 and three-quarter stone.

Anthony Joshua is 240lbs, a touch over 17 stone, about the same size he was against Kubrat Pulev earlier in the year.

On the line, if you have not read anything for the past two years, are Joshua's WBA, WBC, WBO and IBO heavyweight belts.

Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk

We're waiting for Anthony Joshua.

Lawrence Okolie vs. Dilan Prasovic

Lawrence Okolie is 199lbs.

Dilan Prasovic, wrapped in his country's flag, is at 200lbs exactly when he removes the vexillographical accoutrement.

They're fight for Okolie's WBO cruiserweight belt.

Sonni Martinez vs. Campbell Hatton

Sonni Martinez is in at 136lbs, while Campbell Hatton comes in at 136.75lbs.

There's Oasis playing in the background, for which I can only apologise.

Callum Smith vs. Lenin Castillo

Lenin Castillo is in at 175lbs exactly.

Callum Smith is the same too.

They can get on the Lucozade now.

Callum Smith

Maxim Prodan vs. Florian Marku

Maxim Prodan is at 146.75lbs.

Florian Marku is getting his grundies off and standing behind the towel, and he's at 147.4lbs. Whoops!

They're fighting for Prodan's IBF international welterweight belt, which is probably my favourite of all the welterweight belts.

Khasan Baysangurov vs. Christopher Ousley

Khasan Baysangurov is 159.5 and Christopher Ousley is 160 exactly.

The pair are fighting for the vacant WBA intercontinental middleweight belt.

Nobody has been slapped yet, but it's early days.

Right, everyone shut up

There are people talking and the music is off. They're polishing the scales, making sure they have fresh batteries in, and wiping off the toothpaste. Here come the fighters.

People seem to think that Usyk will come in at around 15 and a half stone, and Joshua closer to 17. Joshua is obviously slimmer than he has been previously, and Usyk is still filling out at heavyweight. If Usyk puts too much on, or Joshua loses too much, that could see them - and this is a technical term - knackered in the fight.

The music is really loud. Nobody can hear anything.

Joshua vs. Usyk: Who weighs more? How much does each man weigh? Are they going to throw hands and have an early dust-up? All these questions - and more - will be answered at around 1pm.
