Introducing DAZN Ultimate Tier

Opetaia outlines cruiserweight goals

Jai Opetaia has vowed to remain at cruiserweight until he has vanquished his rivals, as he prepares to face Brandon Glanton.

The Australian launches his Zuffa career against the American this week, with lingering questions over his future in the division.

But Opetaia insists he will not move on until he has rubber-stamped his mark on rivals such as Gilberto 'Zurdo' Ramirez first.

Once we become undisputed we can think about something else," he told Sky Sports News. "I'm chasing these belts."

Inoue relishes Nakatani mega-fight

Naoya Inoue is ready to cross paths with Junto Nakatani this May, with the Japanese star excited for a domestic dust-up.

'The Monster' faces his fellow countryman at Tokyo Dome in Golden Week, defending his undisputed super-bantamweight crown.

Nakatani laboured at points on his division debut against Sebastian Hernandez, but Inoue expects an improved turn this time around.

"I saw the fight in Saudi," he said at Friday's launch event. "It's made Junto a stronger boxer, so I'll be on my toes and ready to go."

Figueroa eyes unification clashes

Brandon Figueroa is wasting little time after his WBA featherweight win over Nick Ball, as he chases some major unification bouts.

The American is out to do what his former foe could not and add a second belt in the division as he aims to build on his success.

WBC champion Bruce Carrington has already issued a challenge, and Figueroa is willing to go toe-to-toe with any foe he can.

"I am here to fight the best," he told The Ring. "Rafael Espinoza, Angelo Leo, Bruce Carrington – any of the champions. I never shy away from a fight."
