Opetaia set for Garcia-Benn card
Jai Opetaia will reportedly mount his next Zuffa bout on the undercard of Ryan Garcia and Conor Benn's title encounter.
The Australian, who was stripped of his IBF cruiserweight belt earlier this year, will figure in a Las Vegas showdown.
It comes as the star attempts to plot his way back towards the summit of a division, per Review Journal's Sam Gordon.
Fellow former champion Chris Billam-Smith has made little secret of his desire to face Opetaia in a long-awaited bout.
Charlo out of Spence-Tszyu
Jermall Charlo will no longer fight on the Errol Spence Jr.-Tim Tszyu card after he was denied a visa to enter Australia.
The star had been due to face Koen Mazoudier on the bill of the American's comeback middleweight bout in Sydney.
But the two-weight world champion will no longer contest the bout after authorities knocked back his plans to travel.
It is another setback for Charlo, who pulled out of a title bout with Armando Resendiz only a handful of months ago.
Teraji eyes three-weight glory
Kenshiro Teraji believes he has more to achieve as he targets a third division this month against Israel Gonzalez in Tokyo.
The pair meet for the vacant WBO bantamweight crown, with the former determined to bounce back from a shock loss.
Teraji was outgunned by Ricardo Sandoval last time around, but has told The Ring he is ready fto conquer new frontiers.
"I changed my mindset, working harder to become a champion again," he added. I wanted to make a comeback right away."
