Brad Goldsmith believes he can "reap the rewards" now after securing a career-high win over Brad Pauls in Southampton.
The star took an underdog victory at St Mary's Stadium to set up what promises to be a blockbuster back half of the year.
Having been written off against the former Lonsdale Belt holder, Goldsmith dropped his opponent with a shrewd performance.
Now, speaking to The Ring, he admits he is ready to seize his opportunity and deliver on the biggest stages going forward.
“I’ve persevered through the good, the bad, the ugly,” he said on his win, “I’m just starting to reap the rewards of the hard work.”
"That’s the way you’ve got to look at it because, essentially, boxing is a business, The goods are good but the bads are bad.
"I’m on a good track now. You know the rules. I’ve just got to keep doing what I’m doing and I will get to where I know I can.
“The things that I want are progression and activity. Now you’ve had a bit of success, you want more. I’m not going to change."
