Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and Terence Crawford are set to meet in one of the fights of the decade this September after the two struck an agreement for a Las Vegas bout, per reports.

The Mexican will put his WBA (Super), WBC, WBO, and The Ring super middleweight titles on the line against the American as part of a Riyadh Season card set for Nevada.

The pair have long been touted for a potential match-up, as two of the pre-eminent pound-for-pound boxers in multiple weight classes over the past decade.

Now, The Ring says that the duo will seek to cement their respective status as a four-division modern-day legend atop what is expected to be a grandstand encounter.

Crawford is expected to step up two divisions from light middleweight to super middleweight in order to face Canelo, who is still expected to fight again beforehand, likely in May.

The former has called for a bout since a unanimous decision victory over Israil Madrimov at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles last August, with a willingness to step up in weight too.
