On Saturday night, November 19, 2016, Claressa Shields and Franchon Crews-Dezurn (10-2, 2 KOs) made their professional debuts against one another. Shields won the four-round contest by unanimous decision. Nine years, three months, and three days, they stepped back inside the ring once again, as they battled tonight for Shields' undisputed heavyweight titles from Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, live and exclusively on DAZN.
Time may have passed, but the dominance of the GWOAT remained the same as Shields showed better power, speed, and precision to defeat Crews-Dezurn by unanimous decision (100-90x3) to still be the undisputed women's heavyweight champion. DAZN News scored the fight just like all three judges, 100-90.
