Ultimate Tier: PPVs & 185 fight nights included

Conor Benn will face ex-two-time world champion Regis Prograis on the Tyson Fury-Arslanbek Makhmudov undercard, in his first bout since leaving Matchroom Boxing.

The Briton confirmed his exit from his long-term home to join Zuffa last week in a shock announcement that blindsided pundits and powerbrokers.

Now, he has confirmed a return to the site of his blockbuster duology with Chris Eubank Jr. at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as the co-main event for Fury's comeback fight in April.

Benn will next take on Prograis, the former WBA and WBC super-lightweight champion, in the first test of his credentials back down at welterweight.

It marks an eye-catching addition to the bill at in North London, particularly after a busy 2026 where the star has been linked to numerous major contenders.

Ranked first for the WBC welterweight title, Benn had been expected to challenge either Mario Barrios or Ryan Garcia following the pair's Las Vegas bout.

Additionally, he faced off with four-weight world champion Shakur Stevenson following the latter's win over Teofimo Lopez Jr. at The Ring 6 back in January.

Prograis, conversely, represents a different level of opponent. Thirty-seven last month, the New Orleans fighter lost wide decisions in two of his last three fights.

Though he got back to winning ways against Joseph Diaz in Chicago last August, questions will be asked over whether he offers a suitable challenge for Benn.

Fury meanwhile is bidding to seal a first win in three of his own, having previously retired after two losses to Oleksandr Usyk back in 2024.
