'Why not test him out?' - Deontay Wilder teases fight against Moses Itauma
Deontay Wilder is back in the heavyweight mix after beating Derek Chisora on Saturday night.
The split decision win over 'Del Boy' has prolonged Wilder's career who has one last chance at being a relevant name in a weight class full of exciting talent.
Wilder may not be the knockout artist he once was, but the fact he scored two knockdowns against Chisora showed that there is still power in his hands.
There were many interested onlookers ringside at the O2 Arena, including Anthony Joshua, with the two meeting at the end of the night as Wilder made his way back to the dressing room.

But while there will be a clamour for a long awaited Wilder-Joshua fight, perhaps a more intriguing fight is one against rapidly rising star Moses Itauma, and it's a contest 'The Bronze Bomber' is interested in.
Itauma's knockout win against Jermaine Franklin at the end of March has been a breakthrough moment, and it was a performance which impressed Wilder.
"I didn’t know who Moses was, I’ve seen some of his highlights," Wilder said following his victory over Chisora.
"I’ve seen his last fight against Franklin. What a hell of a KO that he did."
Then came the tease of a possible bout with Itauma.
"He seems like a potential champion that you guys have here. Why not test him out?"
DAZNItauma's promoter Frank Warren did confirm that his charge's next fight will take place in the summer, and with the win against Chisora, perhaps Wilder could be in the running to be the opponent.
This however is a double edged sword.
For Itauma, if he can beat Wilder, then it will be confirmation that he belongs on the world stage and is a world champion in waiting.
However, a loss to Wilder, who only needs one opportunity to detonate his right hand, could derail Itauma's and lead to some doubts about whether he can compete at the highest level.
