'Mount Rushmore' Haney still waiting on Stevenson call
Devin Haney can be "on the Mount Rushmore of boxing," per the star's father - but Shakur Stevenson is keeping them waiting.
The former, a three-weight world champion currently in possession of the WBC welterweight crown, has been linked to the latter.
After an early June exchange on social media blew up, both men struck an agreement for a 144-pound catchweight encounter.
But now, Haney Sr. has revealed that Stevenson is yet to accept terms, amid talk that both men have signed with Zuffa Boxing.

"We have Shakur Stevenson standing in the way of Devin’s quest to be on the Mount Rushmore of boxing,” he told Inside the Ring.
"Shakur hasn’t responded to the 144-pound agreement that Devin Haney said that he will have with him. It’s been a fight to get him in the ring.
"With three divisions and the youngest undisputed champion, I don’t know if we’re going to get all the respect we need unless we run through all of them."
Haney has other options, including mandatory challenger Keyshawn Davis, though any interest in Ryan Garcia is dependent on the latter's drug testing regime.
