Joshua vs. Prenga: Only on DAZN PPV - July 25

Eddie Hearn has told DAZN News that promoter 'peace talks' held by His Excellency Turki Al-Sheikh were productive, but he warned his rivals he would 'die for his company'.

The Matchroom boss was joined by Queensberry's Frank Warren and Zuffa's Nick Khan, along with DAZN CEO Shay Segev, to resolve some of the public disputes that have reared up in recent months, particularly between Hearn and Zuffa executive leader Dana White.

Speaking exclusively to DAZN News, Hearn revealed talks were cordial, but he made it clear to Khan and Zuffa that both he and Frank Warren will fight to the death if they feel they are being crossed.

Hearn told DAZN News: "I kind of spoke for both the Hearns and the Warrens when I said 'we will literally die for our companies because it's our life and it's our family.

"'Whereas you are in little bit of a different world. You are the CEO of a huge organisation that you didn't really build, but I'm sure you're passionate about. But you got to understand what we're all about'.

"I don't think any real progress was made other than the lines are now open at least."

In a wide-ranging interview, Hearn also disclosed the latest on a location and timings for the planned Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury fight. AJ has in his contract that the fight must be in the UK, with Wembley preferred, but Netflix want to broadcast at a suitable time for American viewers.

That could mean a fight start af 3 or 4am British time, with Hearn revealing that, for that to happen, a lot would depend on the view of the Mayor of Greater London, Sir Sadiq Khan, and willingness to open transport links and the like.

Hearn also explained the reason for Matchroom signing the former world heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz Jr. on Thursday, believing he could become a ruler of the world again.

Hearn revealed he has already spoken to Queensberry about a potential fight between the Mexican and rising star, the undefeated Moses Itauma.
