Fisher vs Allen 2: The unbeaten prospects on the undercard

Watch Fisher vs Allen 2 tonight live on DAZN

Johnny Fisher will hope to remain undefeated tonight when he faces wily Dave Allen at the Copperbox in London, the two heavyweights headlining a card containing other unbeaten prospects.

Some feel that Fisher himself should no longer carry an unblemished record after a controversial split decision win in his first meeting with Allen.

However, the man they call the Romford Bull retains a record of 13-0 (11), with five other fighters on Saturday’s card also yet to lose in their professional careers.

Emmanuel Buttigieg

A professional since 2023, the 20-year-old Emmanuel Buttigieg already has eight pro fights under his belt.

After fighting five times in 2024, Buttigieg is currently on track to surpassing that tally this year, with his bout against Serbian Novak Radulovic, 20-12-1 (8), being his third of 2025.

Whilst potential talents are often given easy fights early in their careers, Buttigieg has only fought one boxer with a losing record – Jensen Irving, 4-13-1 - during his career.

In his last bout in April, Buttigieg showcased his knockout power with a fifth-round stoppage of Grant Dennis. Buttigieg has experience of fighting at the Copper Box, having defeated Jiri Hauke on points at the London venue in July 2024.

Taylor Bevan

Taylor Bevan is another young fighter operating with a packed schedule at the start of his career. The Welshman enjoyed a lengthy career in the amateurs, winning silver at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in the light-heavyweight division.

Since turning pro in November 2024, Bevan has operated as a super middleweight, winning all three of his matches via technical knockout.

However, Bevan’s ability to find a stoppage has limited his time in the ring – after two second-round TKOs in his first two fights, the super middleweight stepped it up with a first-round knockout against Alex Makovec at the end of March.

Bevan enters the ring against 32-year-old Juan Cruz Cacheiro, who fights in the UK for the second time after his points loss to Aaron Bowen at the start of March.

Jimmy Sains

Only 24, Jimmy Sains has accomplished a dream shared by plenty of boxers by fighting in Las Vegas.

Alongside fellow Essex fighters Johnny Fisher and George Liddard, who are both in action on the same card this weekend, Sains fought before Conor Benn’s victory over Peter Dobson in the Chelsea Ballroom back in 2024.

In what was just his third fight, Sais secured a first-round knockout over Alejandro Avalos.

Not only unbeaten, Sains boasts a perfect stoppage record – nine wins, nine via knockout.

John Hedges

There is a distinct Essex flavour to proceedings at the Copper Box this weekend, with John Hedges another from the county to take to the ring.

Hedges, 10-0 (3), is a cruiserweight that stands at 6ft 5in and began his professional career as a teenager in 2020. His time as an amateur was more than productive; 40 wins from 44 fights leading him to four national titles and seven international titles.

A super middleweight in his first eight fights as a pro, ‘Gentleman John’ returned as a cruiserweight after hand surgery in 2024

He picked up the BBBoC Southern Area cruiserweight belt last time out by defeating fellow unbeaten prospect Lewis Oakford at the Copper Box in July 2024. He returns to the same venue to face Nathan Quarless, 13-1 (0), who has gone the distance in all of his fights.

George Liddard

Like stablemate Jimmy Sains, George Liddard has already been fighting as a professional for longer than he did as an amateur.

During two years in the unpaid code, Liddard achieved a 9-1 record, but 11 fights into his time as a pro, he is yet to taste defeat after debuting in November 2022.
