Frank Warren hoped Anthony Joshua would have fought Moses Itauma before Tyson Fury fight
Last week, it was announced that Anthony Joshua (29-4, 25 KOs) will make his 2026 debut on Saturday, July 25, against Kristian Prenga (20-1, 20 KOs), live and exclusively on DAZN.
A Joshua win against Prenga, and then he'll finally battle Tyson Fury in his next fight. But if Fury's promoter had his way, it would be another guy standing across from Joshua in July.
On Monday's edition of The Ariel Helwani Show, Frank Warren appeared on the show to promote Saturday's DAZN PPV clash between sluggers Fabio Wardley and Daniel Dubois.

Warren made it clear that he wished Joshua had squared off with heavyweight sensation Moses Itauma before taking on Fury.
“[Anthony Joshua] has got this warm-up fight coming up against the guy he’s fighting," Warren told Helwani. "Me, I’d love him to have had that warm-up fight against Moses. That would have been a great warm-up and a good test for him.”
Currently, it is unknown when Itauma will return to the ring and who the fight will be against.
