Garcia vs Benn - Fighter who faced Pacquiao three times provides his verdict
Ryan Garcia is expected to defend his WBC welterweight belt against Conor Benn in September in what promises to be a huge encounter where both men will be extremely confident.
Earlier this year, Garcia finally lived up to his promise as he defeated Mario Barrios to finally become world champion after several failed attempts.
In what is likely to be his first defence, Garcia will welcome Benn back to 147lbs following a run above his natural weight class which included two fights at middleweight against major rival, Chris Eubank Jr.
Benn suffered his only loss in the first fight of that series, but he was much improved in the rematch where he was victorious on the scorecards.

Garcia is set to start the bout a decent sized favourite, but one former welterweight champion believes Benn can have success.
Tim Bradley, who fought Manny Pacquiao three times and defeated him once, knows what it takes to rule at Garcia’s weight class, and he has delivered his verdict on the fight.
“For me, that is a challenging fight for Ryan, the power alone, I think, is going to have Ryan Garcia sceptical and second-guessing himself, ‘should I make that move? Maybe he will make me pay if I make that move,’” said Bradley when speaking to Boxing News
“It could make him put his hands in his pockets, so to speak. You know that Ryan don’t like that heat.
“All he had to do against Rolly was back up Rolly, that is all he needed to do and he didn’t want to do that, not on that night, he didn’t want to do that.”
