Does Eubank have legitimate pathway to welterweight gold?
Harlem Eubank returns to action this weekend against David Papot - and for the Briton, it is the chance to make a statement.
Last July, the star faced Jack Catterall in a bout that the former still believes he could have won if not for a technical decision.
Since then, 'El Gato' has moved on to career-best success with the WBA (Regular) title and a shot at the full crown yet to come.
For Eubank, then, Papot is more than just another opponent. He is a springboard to what the star sees as his own key title bid.

But how soon might he find himself in the mix if he triumphs? And, amid a crowded division, is it a realistic option as well?

Why is Papot crucial for Eubank?
Let's start with this weekend. Eubank must get past Papot and avoid a second professional defeat if he is to stoke his hopes.
Three years older than his host at the Copper Box Arena in London, the Frenchman has suffered only one defeat thus far.
But it is a key one. Papot was beaten by now-IBF welterweight champion Liam Paro, who went on to dethrone Lewis Crocker.
Eubank is ranked with the IBF too, and has made little secret that he sees a victory here as the path to the Australian's door.
If he is to mount any serious challenge over the next year or so, then the buck starts here - and he cannot afford to let it slip.
What are the roadblocks to Eubank's chances?
If Eubank sees his hand raised on Saturday evening, he will have defied narrow odds - but a shot at Paro is less clear-cut.
For a start, the latter already has a mandatory challenger in the wings, in the shape of former contender Paddy Donovan.

'The Real Deal' defeated Karen Chukhadzhian in May to tee up what many hoped would be a title-fight trilogy with Crocker.
Instead, he is now in the box seat to face Paro - but the Australian's team are already mulling options like Manny Pacquiao.
Effectively, while a win over Papot could give Eubank a top IBF ranking, several other foes appear better placed for a shot.
What may Eubank do instead?
If no crack at Paro immediately materialises, then Eubank needs to improve his standing elsewhere in the welterweight class.
That could be a bout with a fellow top-ranked IBF contender. Perhaps a shot at dethroned champion Crocker could work too.
If he would rather take a low-wattage route towards the summit, then Conah Walker and Jack Rafferty are domestic options.
Eubank's team may seek to take him overseas in pursuit of new challenges, with Ricardo Salas as another pick.
Either way, victory will not hinder the star's selection or choice. But first, he must come past Papot to prove he belongs here.
