Daniel Dubois  was left to lick his wounds this July after  Oleksandr Usyk  ended his reign as IBF champion inside five rounds at Wembley Stadium to become undisputed champion.

The Briton was looking to avenge a 2023 loss against the Ukrainian and seize his WBA, WBC and WBO belts, but could offer little response to the class of his experienced foe.

It marks a third career loss for Dubois now, who must consider his next steps in a crowded heavyweight division where he still remains one of the top operators in the game.

Daniel Dubois is yet to confirm his next fight, with the Briton expected to take time away after his loss to Oleksandr Usyk on July 19.

The Briton will likely fight again this year however, having previously been scheduled for a February bout with Joseph Parker before illness forced him to withdraw.

The star could pursue a match with one of several other leading heavyweight contenders such as Moses Itauma or Fabio Wardley, or wait for a rematch with Anthony Joshua.
