Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez returned to the light heavyweight division in an attempt to win a second world title at 175lbs.
Canelo took on WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol amid speculation that a win for the Mexican would have kicked off a pursuit of all four belts in the division.
However Bivol delivered a superb performance that left the Mexican on the back foot from the off in one of the most compelling fights of the year, and perhaps the biggest upset so far in 2022.
