Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions are back with another show taking place this weekend in Montreal.
The fight card billed “Prospects 15: Championship edition” aims to promote the company’s best young talent - headlined by a world title fight.
This is the latest in MVP’s moves as an industry disruptor – but what talent is stacking this future-focused card in Canada live on DAZN?
MVP’s Kim Clavel will top the bill, challenging for Sol Cudos’s recently acquired IBF minimumweight title in only her second fight in the division.
Clavel will be fighting on home turf, as she was born and raised in Montreal. Clavel is the former WBC lightflyweight champion – forcing Mariela Ribero Valverde to retire on her stool.
But her reign was short, losing the belt via unanimous decision to Yesica Nery Plata in her first defence.
She would challenge once more for the IBF light flyweight title against Evelin Nazarena Bermudez – but lost a tight split decision.
Clavel made an impressive start to her campaign at minimumweight with a shutout unanimous decision win in February and will be hoping to become a two-weight world champion.
But she comes up against an undefeated champion in Cudos, who won the vacant IBF minimum title in her last fight.
Cudos lacks experience, and this will be her first fight outside of Argentina, but she seems to hold a power advantage – with the same number of knockouts as Clavel in half the number of fights.
MVP continue to press their advantage in the women’s game, putting on yet another world title fight after their historic all-female card with six title bouts that was headlined by Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano 3 earlier this year.
Their roster of female boxers is the most stacked in the world right now, having recently signed the likes of Alycia Baumgardner, Ellie Scotney and Savannah Marshall to add to their already impressive team that is led by superstar Amanda Serrano.
Most Valuable Promotions
Wanna Walton is one of MVP’s biggest stars, but not because of his boxing just yet. The 19-year-old was a star on the hit TV show ‘Euphoria’ starring alongside the likes of Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi before his role came to an end, and he decided to pursue boxing.
Do not confuse him with a celebrity crossover fighter; he is a legitimate boxer with nearly 30 amateur bouts dating back to when he was 10 years old.
He made his professional debut with MVP and has continued undefeated through his first three professional fights, with one draw sandwiched by two wins.
Walton will take on Anthony Mora, his most experienced opponent to date, who holds a record of 6-4-1. The Atlanta native will hope to put on a show and prove himself worthy of the title ‘prospect'.
Naomy Valle is the younger sister of Yakosta Valle, the three-weight world champion and current holder of the WBC minimumweight championship.
Naomy will return to the ring for the third time this year in the hopes of extending her impressive 14-fight unbeaten streak, including a powerful nine knockouts.
The Costa Rican prospect is one of the most promising young females on the roster. This fight against a fellow undefeated fighter in Federic Macri' will be Valle’s MVP debut despite signing much earlier this year.
Macri’ has fought almost exclusively in Italy and is yet to beat an opponent with a winning record – only claiming a draw against the 6-0 Keylin Maradiaga last year.
Naomy welcomed her older sister Yokasta to the MVP ranks in August of this year, and the pair are ready to take over the lighter divisions in the female game with Jake Paul behind them.
Comparisons have been drawn between them and the Serrano sisters, Amanda and Cindy, who are both former multi-division world champions. Yakosta has held up her end of the deal, winning multiple world titles. It is now up to Naomy to follow in the footsteps of her older sister.
This fight against Macri’ is a perfect opportunity to edge herself closer to a world title shot, and begin the Valle dynasty.

Mazlum Akdeniz is another of the homegrown talents appearing on the card for MVP. The 21-0 (8) fighter from Montreal will take on his toughest test in the form of the undefeated Anthony Soto, 13-0-1 (8).
Akdeniz has been on an impressive run in the last three years - claiming and defending the WBC continental Americas title before winning his first international title with the WBC in 2023, and is hoping to give his world ranking a boost against his first undefeated opponent.
This will be Soto’s first fight outside of the US in his thus far short career, and he does so to take a big step up in opposition against a fighter well in advance of him in terms of experience and rankings – this could be a breakout fight opportunity for both men.
