The former UFC star is not impressed with the current crossover boxing scene.

It is safe to say former UFC star Jorge Masvidal is not too impressed with the current crossover boxing scene.

During the latter stages of his MMA career and since his retirement in April 2023, Masvidal has often been linked with some of the big names in crossover boxing such as Jake Paul and KSI.

But instead, the 38-year-old has decided to focus on his two MMA promotions, Gamebred Fighting Championship and iKON FC.

However, this has not stopped Masvidal from launching a scathing attack on crossover boxing and its fighters, in particular Jake Paul who beat Nate Diaz last month.

"These dudes, I’ve got to get in there and leave some of these dudes dead," Masvidal told DAZN

"I think all of them, all these YouTubers, look if you don’t have the skill cool, but you better have the will.

"In the last fight between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz, these dudes are not mean, they were not trying to hurt each other.

"I may have to come out of retirement, put these boxing gloves on and take care of these pretenders real quick and go back to doing my thing, promoting."
