For the first time since July 2019, former WBA and WBC champion Keith Thurman will lace up the boxing gloves as he looks to re-assert himself as a major player at 147lbs. Thurman's last fight was a split decision loss to the now retired Manny Pacquiao.
The 33-year-old takes on former world super lightweight champion Mario Barrios who was in action last June when he was knocked out by Gervonta 'Tank' Davis in the eleventh round. A win for either man will be a fine way to bounce back from dissapointing defeats and be the start of the road to a world title shot.
Also featuring on the card is four-division world champion Leo Santa Cruz who takes on Keenan Carbajal in a super featherweight contest.
