'Belfast, Japan, Philadelphia, my back garden!' - Lewis Crocker not shy on world title dreams with Paddy Donovan eliminator
Lewis Crocker believes he is in the best shape of his life ahead of his IBF welterweight title eliminator with Paddy Donovan this Saturday at Belfast's SSE Arena.
The pair will meet in an all-Irish battle in the former's hometown as they bid to become the mandatory challenger to a world championship crown held by Jaron Ennis.
Crocker, who holds an unbeaten 20-0 record with 11 KOs, is coming up against another foe boasting an unbeaten record and will hope to inflict a first loss on Donovan.
Speaking exclusively with DAZN News , the star stressed that he is ready to push on and deliver on his promise with some of the strongest turns of his career so far.
"What a night it's going to be," he said. "I'm in the best shape I've ever been in. The atmosphre is going to be electric. At the minute, things are just falling into place perfectly.
"I've headlined twice in Belfast, and both have been knockouts, so I'm used to this. I've been there before, and I know what to expect. I'm accustomed to it now.
"I've been part of big nights against good fighters. I'm at the right moment of my career right now to push on and deliver the best performances of my life.
"You never give up on your dream. If you just keep taking away, the opportunities come. I'm in touching distance of a world title. It's the dream.
"Belfast, Japan, Philadelphia, my back garden, I wouldn't care [where I fought for it]. A world title is a world title. I'll fight any man, anywhere at any time."
